Great write up on Thailand! Having been to the Philippines a few times, a lot of these tips also apply there! 100% on my radar for later this year. The one point you made on respecting culture, in my book, is so important. Many folks forget you’re actually on someone elses turf, so be respectful! Thanks, keep up the great writing!

Hey Steve! Yes 10000% — wherever you are in the world, it’s important to be respectful of other cultures. 🙂

    Hi Kiki,

Amazing tips! I used your tips during my stay in Thailand last month and I’m glad I did.

I wanted to see the elephants but ended up going to the elephant poop factory instead haha…

Overall, I think the only thing I would recommend your readers to do is to download the app “GRAB”.

It’s similar to UBER, so you don’t have to worry about the local taxi’s trying to rip you off.

    Cheers,
    Eric

Hey Eric, the elephant poop factory sounds quite interesting. And thank you for the tip!

I highly recommend staying a night or 2 at @themanor_house in The Cotswolds.

It’s located in the tiny, picturesque village of Castle Combe—one of my favorite stops of our trip.

We had the entire village to ourselves early in the morning and at sunset which was so magical!
