Hi! I just discovered and I’m a little obsesses with your blog.
I had planned to go to Iceland with my sister last year but that trip fell through. I’ve done a bunch of solo trips so I feel like I could definitely go this one alone. I’m going to Dubai in a couple of days though, so I’ll definitely start saving for next year.
Did you go during the winter? I don’t mind the cold and would love to see the Northern Lights which I hear are more probable during the winter. However, I would love a summer trip. Any suggestions?

Hi Kiersten, thanks for the awesome blogpost! I’m planning on traveling solo for the first time this winter. Would you recommend Iceland to a female not really comfortable with driving on ice/in harsh weather? Thank you!

    • Hi babe!

If you’re uncomfortable driving in ice or snow, I would NOT recommend renting a car, as it can be very dangerous. You can definitely choose to take tours and rent taxis to get around 🙂

I highly recommend staying a night or 2 at @themanor_house in The Cotswolds.

It’s located in the tiny, picturesque village of Castle Combe—one of my favorite stops of our trip.

We had the entire village to ourselves early in the morning and at sunset which was so magical!
