This is so helpful – thank you Kiersten! Based on your blog in general, I’m gathering that you have traveled to Morocco both with friends and solo as well, right? I had an opportunity to go there solo about 5 years ago, but got talked out of it by concerned friends, coworkers, bosses, etc. I’m now, more seriously, attempting to go there by myself, but just wanting to be smart. I’ve lived in NYC and therefore feel as though my skin is thick enough (or could be in these circumstances), but it would definitely bug me. However I think the itch to see those beautiful sights in person will win out! 😉

    • I’ve only been with a friend so I can only speak from that experience. I think if you can go with someone or with an organized travel group, you might just have a better/easier time overall. Totally up to you though!
