  1. Looks like you girls had a fab time! Perfect girlfriend vacation for young women, methinks. (I feel old now… )

Hi Kristen– amazing breakdown and coverage of all things TYW btw!! I have a much better sense of it now! I have a friend who has booked a boat for the Sicily route and invited me to go. I’ve heard mixed things about the Yacht Weeks overall. My friends that are going we’re all in our mid 30s and tend to be more chill (and so far on the boat we have 3 couples going). I don’t want to sign up for something that is too MTV spring break ish. In your experience would it be something fun for someone that likes to drink but is not a stay up all night-body shot- clubbing type? I get the impression from your post the daytime you’re doing activities and at night I could go check out the nightlife option but if I wanted to leave too I could ? Thoughts?

    • Hey Kimmy!
I totally understand, and I actually think the Italy route would be perfect for you. In my experience, it was more chill, and less of a “spring break party” than other routes– you get to experience the local culture and take in the sights a bit more. You’re completely able to opt out of nightlife, or just grab a few drinks, so you can make of it what you want 🙂
