You’re my new hero! I’ve recently become obsessed with going to Cancun but am picky about who I travel with and my favorite travel buds are not available this summer (or have a boyfriend who will not let them…). I had the thought of just going myself since I can! So.. why not?? I would love to have someone to share the experience with and that makes me a bit sad, but not at all scared. Just a couple Q’s: Did you ever hit up the clubs in Cancun? I want to do that at least one night but is that weird to go dancing alone?? I feel weird asking to go with people I just meet. Also, did you ever get bored of yourself? And if so, what did you do?

    • Going out alone can actually be really fun! Traveling solo has also become so popular that there is a good chance that you will meet other solo travelers who are thinking the same as you (and no it’s not weird to go out with them after you just meet). There are always new people to meet and talk to and some alone time can be really great as well. Have fun 🙂

Hi Kiersten! I’m taking my first solo trip in June to Cancun and definitely want to experience the hostel life. Do you mind sharing which Hostel you stayed at in Cancun? Thanks!

    • Hey babe! I stayed in hostels in Cozumel and Tulum but only hotels in Cancun unfortunately.
