I was thinking of staying on Koh Sumai as well and ferrying over but I read on another site that the ferries going to and from are very full and you have to wait hours to get aboard, even if you book in advance. Did you fid this to be true?

    • Hey Marissa! When I was there a few years ago, I didn’t experience this, however with growing popularity of the islands it is completely possible. Maybe someone on here who has been here more recently can offer more recent experiences! So sorry I can’t be of more help!
