Rosemary Water – Greece
For shiny, bouncy locks, women in Greece rinse their hair with rosemary water; it deep-cleans and removes buildup. “Boil fresh rosemary in water, let it cool completely, strain out the rosemary, and pour the water over your hair.”
Coffee Soap – Indonesia
Indonesia is famous for their coffee but it has more uses that just your delicious morning beverage. Coffee scrub, such as Juara, is excellent for the skin. Coffee beans have a powerful antioxidant while also tightening the skin and stimulating circulation.

Rice Water – China
Yes, you read that correctly. The Chinese believe the water from cleaning rice is an excellent and natural face cleanser. They believe that the nutrients left in the water helps resolve the oil and dirt from the skin.
Baobab Seed Oil -Africa
Not only is this extract used to treat illnesses such as smallpox, malaria, asthma and fever but Baobab Seed Oil it is also very high in antioxidants and Vitamin C. Use this oil for your skin-care and hair-care. It has also been suggested that Baobab seed oil slows the aging process.

Egg Yolks – France
Depending on what region you come from in France, your “Grandma’s Hair Recipe” may vary a bit but, for shiny hair with a lot of body, create a mixture of egg yolk, rum and olive oil. Leave it on your head for one hour, shampoo and rinse!
Turmeric – India
Turmeric is not only a favorite in Indian cooking but for centuries, many woman have used it for skin care as well. Create your own skin mask by combining 1 teaspoon of organic turmeric powder with enough yogurt and honey to create a thick paste.
Apply to your face, neck and any other area of the body you chose. Leave on for 15 minutes (or until dry) and rinse. You should have an immediate healthy glow!
Argan Oil – Morocco
This oil is very popular in several cosmetic lines around the world. Argan oil is commonly used as a treatment for skin diseases such as acne, flaking skin, rheumatism and can also help to heal burns. It can also be used to fortify hair and helps with dry scalp.
Beach Sand – Brazil
It may seem too simple put perhaps that’s the real beauty in it. Brazilian women often use beach sand as a natural exfoliate. Next time you’re at the beach, rub both wet and dry sand on your thighs, derriere and even arms to help enhance that beautiful Brazilian beach glow.

Lanolin – New Zealand

Hawaiian women often use two local fruits for their beauty secrets. Coconuts have a fat that’s good for the body, not harmful. Drink the coconut milk to benefit your insides and use coconut oil as a hair treatment to stimulate growth.
Heck, you can even bathe in it for softer skin!
After your coconut bath, puree pineapples in a blender and rub over your face to exfoliate. Another excellent organic and cost effective beauty secret!
