    Hi Kiersten,
I am heading to Iceland in a week and a half and this packing list was the best I have seen yet. I am hoping you can help answer a question that no one can seem to help with. I want to be able to blow dry and straighten my hair (I have an unattractive wave to my hair). Some people have said to buy dual voltage travel hair dryer and dual voltage Hair straighteners that way all you need is a plug adapter. While others have said to just use my normal hair dryer and straightener and to buy a converter. However, most converters I have seen say not to use with hair dryer or if they do say OK to use with a hair dryer it says not to use with a hair straightener. What do you normally do? Do you have recommendation on adapter/dual voltage products?

This was so helpful, thank you! We just went as a family to Iceland for three nights/four days. The recommendation for fleece-lined leggings was perfect! I don’t know how my daughter and I have done Boston winters without them. Living in Boston was probably an advantage since October in Iceland is much warmer than January in Boston, even Inside the Glacier. Anyway, I referenced your packing list frequently, and used many of your links. Thanks again!

Iceland is AMAZING!!! Can’t wait to go back!
