This is a very useful and comprehensive post! I have never been to Treviso, nor have I been to Venice – but I am not as eager to visit Venice as I used to, because of how affected by tourists the city is nowadays. I want to respect the inhabitants’ peace and quality of living. Treviso sounds like a great alternative, and definitely not as tourism-heavy, maybe more authentic too! 🙂

Hey Julia! I truly loved Treviso. While traveling to Italy is not going to happen at the moment – it’s fun to plan ahead for potential trips. And it really is a great alternative to Venice!

Omg! It was so nice to read about the city where I am from! Treviso is a city recently discovered from tourists who usually go to Venice, and it has so much to offer! I loved your blog post and I felt home, especially because I lived abroad in this moment!
