A few things…Veneto does not have an ‘a’ in it; people definitely know you are a tourist if you are eating breakfast at a bar after 10 and lunch before 1; Italians do not drink a spritz with food (only before); you have a photo of San Marco in Venice in a post about Treviso (and not in the day trip section…).

Hi Julia! Thank you for your note and keen eye! These observations were just made from my personal experience but I’ve made a couple of adjustments in the post. Appreciate it!

Kiki! My husband and I are traveling to Italy in the spring and I’m using your two-week itinerary as a guide to plan it. We plan on traveling to Treviso for a day while we’re in Venice, but now I’m rethinking staying in Venice after reading this. Treviso sounds wonderful!

    • Aww they’re such different destinations but you should absolutely visit Treviso! Venice is obviously incredible, but Treviso is much more local and there are hardly any tourists!
