Hi! I’m travelling solo to Bali in September. My flight arrives very late at night and I wanted to be as close to Ubud as possible from day 1. Would you recommend any places to stay?

    • You can head straight to Ubud! Bali is quite small and you should be able to grab a cab at any hour. It’s about 35-40 minutes to Ubud from the airpot 🙂

Hi Kiersten! love your blog + site!
I am headed to Bali soon. Is it better to stay in a bungalow than a hotel or are they all like a bungalow? i want a bungalow vibe but almost luxury too.
Would you say 3 days is enough time there? Could I see the rice fields and the water temple in one day with the same driver you think? How does hiring a driver work?
    Thanks!
