I’ve been looking at all your Croatia stuff, my husband and I will be going there in April, but it looks like it’s been updated. Since you’re moving there maybe you can be our tour guide! ? My grandfather came to the States from Croatia so I’m excited to finally get to see it! Thanks for all your tips, love your website!

Hey Sheri, how fun!! My post about moving there is actually several years old now—I was there for a bit, but I’m now based in Cape Town, South Africa!

Hi, did you rent a car when in Croatia? I feel like it would be the best option so we can go places at our own leisure, but my husband thinks we should do buses and trains (but I read trains are not rec’d in Croatia) What is your opinion? Thanks so much, love your site! You’re the best in the business BY FAR!!!

Hi Tammy! I relied on public transportation while in Croatia just because I wasn’t comfortable driving solo in the area, but it is definitely doable (and probably easier when you’re with a partner). I’d suggest joining the TBA Travel Tribe on FB and asking the ladies there if they have any suggestions 🙂 https://www.facebook.com/groups/947813952040668/
