I’ve found menstrual cups to be the most convenient and sustainable option for handling my period while traveling or at home! I remember the first time I traveled abroad for a long period of time and I packed four boxes of tampons with me…never again! For all the ladies considering a menstrual cup, I recommend using the Put A Cup In It quiz first! I bought a Diva Cup first, but found it so uncomfortable. A friend recommended this quiz to me before completely quitting menstrual cups. It helped me found the right menstrual cup for me since all of our bodies and periods are different (:

Surprisingly, I had a really difficult time finding a place to get ANY kind of sanitary supplies when I was in NYC!! I seriously walked around for hours asking where to find a grocery store or a pharmacy, I even asked a few cops! My GPS wasn’t working properly because it kept bouncing off the tall buildings in the concrete jungle.
Last month I tried the Saalt cup for the first time, and was very unsuccessful. I gave up and said I’d try again this month:) We shall see!

I’m surprised by NYC but dang! And sometimes it takes trying out a few brands to find the right cup for you!
