Thank you; This is very helpful! I have thin, fine, straight, oily, dishwater brown hair. Not exactly the hair lottery winner! But I will try these ideas. I just ordered a silk pillowcase! When I use dry shampoo, it seems to make my scalp hurt. I have tried a lot of brands. But maybe I will give your brand a try!

Hey Liz! You’re welcome. I love my silk pillowcase and for me, it makes a huge difference. Interesting about dry shampoo making your scalp hurt—I haven’t experienced that, but it could vary from brand to brand. Lol and don’t worry—my hair is naturally thin, fine, straight, and oily, too!

Thanks, Kirstein, for sharing such great tips about growing healthy. I think all of us (ladies, especially) need to take our hair seriously. As for me, I am too busy to take care of my hair but whenever someone with long and shiny hair crosses my path. I look at my hair and really feel bad about ignoring them completely.

But, now after reading this valuable piece, I am going to take very good care of my hair and try to follow some basic steps.

P.S I really didn’t know that a pillowcase can really make a difference

    Thanks!
