      Hey Silvia!

That swimming spot is by the Pont du Gard bridge, I think! I believe I was driving from Avignon. There are so many pretty spots in the area though! 🙂

    Hi,

Great post about Provence and your stay in the area, thank you, it has given me some fantastic ideas for places to visit when we next get the chance.

Avignon is definitely a nightmare for parking, but you can park for free in Avignon parking des Italiens or Ile Piot and take the free bus in to the city centre if you wish.

We plan on visiting Gorges du Verdon very soon, but would you say it is a family friendly place? Good for young children? It looks amazing there 🙂

    Thank you,
    Phil

Hi Phil! I did see some families with younger children there, but I’d definitely say use your discretion and best judgment as some areas might be steeper to climb down/the water is deeper.
