    Hi Kiersten! After seeing your post on Provence, we’ve booked a stay in Avignon for 2 nights on our upcoming trip to France! I was just curious to ask where the first image on this page may be from (the picture looking out onto the river with the trees in the foreground). Would love to visit there if it’s close by. Thanks in advance!

      Hi Leah! That swimming spot is by the Pont du Gard bridge, I think! I believe I was driving from Avignon. There are so many pretty spots in the area though! 🙂

I drove, so I can only speak about my experience, but there are likely regional trains that will take you around — however, that requires researching a lot more about train tickets and timetables.
