  1. Fahmida Lovely

I literally love your blog! I am 20 years old from London and going solo backpacking around South East Asia, I fly off to Thailand on Nov 23rd and initially I didn’t have an fears, but the comments from everyone else continuously questioning my safety has made me begin to doubt it to, and I was starting to get a bit scared. It was an impulsive decision for me literally just booked a one way flight and handed my one month notice in the other day!

Would you have any tips on overnight bus travel in Thailand, I wont be on many just from Bangkok to Phuket but I’ve just read so much about theft on these trips.

Also Would you recommend any hill tribe trekking providers in Chiang Mai?

    Thank you! x

    • Hey Fahmida! You’re going to have an amazing trip! I only took one overnight bus to Bangkok but it was great! Regarding theft, just use your best judgement. Keep any valuables you have on your body if possible and use a lock on your luggage or backpack. And definitely get travel insurance!

I still haven’t been to Chiang Mai so I’m sorry I can’t personally recommend anyone.

  2. Love this post! I am 19 yrs old, and I want to travel to Europe alone next year, i have no doubt about that! But this post definitely is pushing me forward! The fact that you say you are never alone! Keep inspiring girls like me! Kisses from Argentina!

    • Thank you Delfina! Have the best trip! xo

I highly recommend staying a night or 2 at @themanor_house in The Cotswolds.

It’s located in the tiny, picturesque village of Castle Combe—one of my favorite stops of our trip.

We had the entire village to ourselves early in the morning and at sunset which was so magical!

I took a spontaneous trip with my friend to the countryside of England and it was everything I dreamed it would be!

The Cotswolds feel like stepping back in time with historic villages and adorable cottages). While these places might seem similar at first glance, each village was actually quite unique. These are some of the cutest villages we visited:

- Castle Combe
- Bourton-on-the-Water
- The Slaughters
- Stow-on-the-Wold
- Broadway
- Snowshill
- Bibury

Some amazing villages and towns not featured but also worth visiting include:

- Broadway
- Burford
- Daylesford & Daylesford Farms
- Chipping Campden
- Cirencester

Are The Cotsworlds on your bucket list?
