  1. Shukin

Hi Kiersten! Thank you for your wonderful post! I am going to Bali alone this December~ I would like to enjoy myself by the beach~ my friend also recommended me Ku De Ta, but is it all solo traveler have to stay room for 2? As I am still unable to find a single room at Ku De Ta~
Also is there any advice regarding the transportation?
    Thanks so much!! :))

    • Hey Shukin! Ku De Ta is a luxury hotel, so my guess is they don’t charge by single or double occupancy- just a flat rate per room per night!

As for transportation, you have lots of options! I recommend taking a taxi from the airport to your hotel / hostel / villa and then you can potentially walk, rent a motorbike, or take more taxis! I was able to hire a driver for a day for a flat rate to take me around to all the sites I wanted to see. You can read more about that here: https://theblondeabroad.com/2011/09/10/private-tour-of-ubud-then-on-to-seminyak/

  2. Just came back from Bali last week and we had a great time there. It was my first time in Indoneasia and it was amazing experience. The only thing I was a bit disappointed was the amount of rubbish all around. But you’re right, people were really nice and tried to help even with language barrier.
