As November rolls around, I’m excited about new adventures and getaways this winter! I’m gearing up for an active, but cozy holiday season.
It’s easy to want to cuddle up and binge-watch my favorite shows, but instead, I’m planning to get outside.
I just bought a Land Rover Defender 90— my DREAM car! I’ll be setting my sights on some of the best road trips in South Africa and Africa!
With the weather in Cape Town being SO unpredictable, I always keep a few of my winter outfits in my arsenal. A puffer is essential in the windy city of Cape Town!
You may know by now that I’m a fan of Backcountry. They have an awesome selection of outdoor apparel, winter apparel and all the essentials you could need for your big adventures and the moments in between.

My Outdoor Winter Outfit from Backcountry
I love a good puffer jacket—not only do they come in cute colors and different styles, this Patagonia Down Sweater Jacket is versatile, and made with lightweight and compressible 800-fill Traceable Down. In colder weather, I always opt for fleece-lined leggings over denim for comfort and warmth.
And then, depending on whether I’ll be in snow or just a colder climate, I’ll be sure to pack 1 to 2 pairs of winter boots. These Sorel Ainsley Conquest boots are my new favorite for keeping my feet dry and comfortable in winter conditions—those ones are selling out fast, but these boots are similar!
To keep things extra toasty, I keep my YETI Rambler Mug to keep my coffee, tea or soup piping hot.

Where did you get those boots? I saw your link to Backcountry but I like yours way more!
Hey Haley! They’re also from Backcountry (brand is Sorel) but those exact ones are sold out so I linked to similar ones.
