    This is a great article! Yellowstone is one of my favorite places in the world. While your tip on staying away from wildlife is super important I would also add stay away from the geysers and hot springs! So many people wander off the elevated wooden path to get a great shot when what they are walking on is a relatively flimsy crust with a boiling hot spring below. A park ranger told us that buffalo, who congregate near the geysers for warmth routinely fall through!

  2. Stephanie, that is SUCH a good point! I’ve heard some pretty gruesome stories about people wandering where they shouldn’t be and getting extremely hurt or even worse.
