  1. This is a great list! As an upstate New Yorker I’ve headed down to the city many times for work or fun and I agree there are some things to skip. The bagels & pizza are a must, you don’t need fancy NYC dinners to get the NY food experience! The high line is my favorite!! Also walking around Greenwich/NYU area!

    These are fab tips – it’s really easy to do a lot of things for free there! I have to admit we did go to the Statue Of Liberty on our last visit because my partner had never been out to it. But I feel like we’re done with that – next time we’re in town we’ll be focusing on a lot of the free stuff! (Except maybe Top Of The Rock!)

    • Yes! The Top of the Rock is definitely worth the splurge!
