  1. CATHERINE

HI KIERSTEN! Questions – what are some hotels would you recommend staying at in Nice?

    • The Blonde Abroad

Hi Catherine! I didn’t actually stay in Nice so I can’t give you a personal rec. But soooo many places look gorgeous and I’m sure you’ll be able to find something lovely. Are you thinking of hotel over Airbnb? I’d love to hear about where you end up staying! <3

  2. Dear Kiki, We invite you to visit Nice the next time with us. You’ve had a great start, but the wonder of Nice, which is becoming super trendy for the world’s travelers (the first flights from Beijing were inaugurated this week), is the reasons for everything from the rocky beaches to the incredible history that will be all around you but unexplained. In Nice, we have a Place Garibaldi, named after the famous mercenary who was born in Nice and helped Italy become a complete nation. But as an American, I wonder if you realized that this same Garibaldi was asked by US President Abraham Lincoln to lead the Northern troops in the Civil war? And just outside of Nice are many magical places such as Bellet, the wine region which of which American President Thomas Jefferson was a big fan and big buyer of wine. While your at it, join us in late September, the time of the grape harvest to visit the vineyards and then lunch among the gardens of vegetable producers who grow the food for the famous Mediterranean cuisine in a long forgotten four hour lunch among local Provençal musicians and dancing!
