Jjust recently returned from a 3 week tour of Scotland. We had a guided tour of the Highlands and Islands by coach for 2 weeks and then on our own by car for the last week so that we could do some genealogy research. Being on our own was the most fun but the guided tour gave us a great overview of so many sites with fantastic commentary by an experienced guide, it was truly a history lesson with beautiful scenery.

Scotland is a magical place unlike any other country I have visited. The countryside with all of its locks and mountains are magnificent and the people friendly and accommodating.

Hope to go back soon? Marilyn
