This is a great camera and your photos are always amazing. I also really like the Sony A7s and the Panasonic G85 – Panasonics are great mirrorless all rounders because they have 4K video, decent picture quality, mic input and also flip screen…hard to find everything in just one camera!

    Hey Kiersten!

You are such an inspiration to me, so much so that I decided to buy a one way ticket to Barcelona and plan to backpack Europe for a few months! I’ve been trying to do my research being that I am a beginner and this will be my first solo travel trip- content wise I would love to see what you’d recommend to use in capturing my journey- a GoPro or a Fujifilm camera? May seem like a silly question, however, we’re all trying to save money here since this will be my first trip abroad by myself I can’t decide what would benefit me the most. Please let me know your thoughts if possible! I look forward to continue following your journey and picking up some of your tips and tricks!

    • It totally depends on what kind of content you want to capture and what your budget is. The GoPro is great if you’re doing a lot of adventure travel, underwater, high-intensity activities, etc. The Fujifilm is better for lifestyle, historic sights, walking around, site-seeing, etc. You will probably get a little higher quality with Fuji and have more room for editing with presets, etc. Can’t go wrong!

Here’s the secret—@homeexchangecom. It’s a social network where you swap homes with fellow travelers, whether it’s an apartment or a house.

While we stayed in a gorgeous, centrally located apartment in Manhattan to celebrate the holiday season, our guests enjoyed a sunny winter in Southern California while staying in our cozy home. It’s a win-win!

No expensive hotel stays, no home sitters needed. Home exchange saves you thousands by giving you a free place to stay in someone else’s home.

You can filter your search for homes with a pool or something pet-friendly or kid-friendly to find your perfect home away from home.

We left a little welcome basket and some local travel tips for our guests to make it extra special for them.

So whether it’s a modern apartment in the city or a beach house getaway, this travel hack can make your dream vacation a reality.

I highly recommend staying a night or 2 at @themanor_house in The Cotswolds.

It’s located in the tiny, picturesque village of Castle Combe—one of my favorite stops of our trip.

We had the entire village to ourselves early in the morning and at sunset which was so magical!
