Great experience Kiersten Rich! This definitely not a hassle thing. Traveling in Europe with train as transportation is good to ride.

We were very dissappointed with Europass. My wife and I took out a two country europass going from Germany to Denmark and travelling 1st class as advised by our travel agent. Having left Hamburg our train had problems and we ended up having to walk from the last train station to the ferry with our bags on the Ferry we were advised that the train in Denmark had departed and buses would take us to Copenhagen. If not for the assistance of a couple of young Americans we and a few other elderly people would probably have missed the buses. Our daughter in Copenhagen enquired as to what the delays with the train were and nobody there was able to tell her anything. Then when the train dissappeared off the arrivals board nobody was interested in finding out . We arrived in Copenhagen some two and a half hours late to a tearful and very distressed daughter. On our return to New Zealand in September 2016 we advised our travel agent and sought compensation for the poor way in which Eurorail handled the matter especially as it cost more for the 2 country Europass and we only ended up travelling in Germany by train. We are now in January 2017 . almost four months and still no response from Eurorail. Ats I am 66 I no longer have the same energy to go up and down stairs with full suitcases so was very dissappointed at the treatment we received.
