Now that I’m properly “bumpin,” I’ve been wearing more bump-friendly styles and I’m so impressed with how cute some of the brands are.
Before getting pregnant, I was quite hesitant about all the muumuu styles and frocks I’d seen everywhere…they just didn’t feel like *me.*
I think what I love most is that so many of the styles I’ve found below are meant to fit you with or without a bump. I really dislike the idea of buying things that I know will only fit me for a few months of my life.
Here are some cute maternity outfit ideas for the stylish mama-to-be!
Maternity Sweater Dresses
I’m a big fan of a mini dress and wearing body-con ones that show off the bump was a fave of mine! As a good half of my pregnancy was during winter, cozy sweater dresses were a major go-to for me!
Here’s a link to the mint maternity sweater dress seen on the right — it’s soft like fleece and the length is perfect! I ordered a Medium, which is my pre-pregnancy size, and it fit great (at this point I had gained about 15 pounds so far).

Fitted Body-Con Maternity Dresses
Pretty much a continuation of the sweater dress style — as in it hugs my curves, these body-con maternity dresses were super cute and made an appearance more often than not during my pregnancy!
I loved this style so much, I even rocked this Fitted Smocked Olive Green Dress for my gender-neutral backyard baby shower in San Diego!
Pink Blush Maternity has become my go-to place for cute pregnancy dresses that highlight my silhouette.

Wearing:
Rompers & Overalls
Like I mentioned earlier — I didn’t want to compromise style or wear anything that didn’t feel like me, during pregnancy. And I’m the type of girl who loves a good pair of overalls…
So naturally, I had to find a number of cute and comfy maternity overalls and they became staples in my pregnancy wardrobe!
While rompers and overalls aren’t necessarily the easiest outfits to get in and out of for frequent bathroom trips — they’re super cute and comfy.
The brown romper/jumpsuit can be found here!
Flowy Mini Dress
A fun mix between the body-con and something a little flowier — mini dresses like the ones above felt flirty and cute. I love the balance of the long sleeves so it never felt like I was showing a ton of skin, but again, this is a style I would have worn pre-pregnancy.
Do you see a theme? I told ya…no frocks for this gal (though if you want to wear a frock or muumuu, don’t let me stop you! To each their own!).

Maxi Dresses
For our babymoon in Cabo, it was either a cover-up maxi dress by the pool or a more glammed-up maxi dress on the beach. Either way, these maxi dresses are great pregnancy outfits!
And while I was in Egypt testing out our TBA Escapes Egypt Tour, wearing breezy maxi dresses was key to combat the heat and dress appropriately for a conservative country.

Helpful Tip:
My Favorite Shoes for Pregnancy
Kiziks were my go-to white sneaker before pregnancy and honestly, they’re perfect if you’re pregnant.
Initially recommended to me by my chiropractor when I was having serious issues with my lower back and I physically couldn’t bend over to tie my shoes (pre-pregnancy), Kiziks are a dream as you can just slip them on.
No need to tie or untie, or bend over to pull them on or off. They’re designed to slip on easily, while still being extremely fashionable. Plus, they’re VERY comfortable. I swear by these sneakers.

Love these styles! Can you tell me what the brand is for your tan peep toe espadrilles?
They’re an older design from Soludos!
