I was a reluctant cruiser. I only went based on begging from a coworker who had her travel companion cancel out due to family emergency. Also I had never travelled with her before and we were going to share a room. I figured out bad can it be for 7 days (I have travelled to a resort with a girl friend I have known for a long time yet we had not travelled anywhere before together – and frankly it was a nightmare and I am super easy going, big shocking story…). Anyways, I loved it! I loved the specialty dining restaurants, not having to worry about having a few drinks if I felt like it as my stateroom was close at hand if needed (I never did). We had the inclusive drinks package so it was fun to try a few new cocktails. The service was phenomenal too – always willing to give advice on tours or activities. Tons of activities on board the boat. We were cruising to all these great places in the Mediterranean and the time on board the boat was full of fun things to do for so many different tastes. We just went on another cruise to the Caribbean this past September. I didn’t think I would like a cruise but did end up enjoying the combined benefits of boat and land and only unpacking once was awesome.

Totally agree with this. I’m very happy I selected a Greek Islands Cruise for my friend experience.
