Thank you so much for sharing these amazing places! I have been to the Pasteis de Belem and Manteigaria, but I think I would always go to Manteigaria, as it is less crowded.
Anyway, I would suggest Pateo 13, which is in Alfama. They offer authentic Portuguese cuisine and the setting is truly traditional. Also, the food is beyond amazing! Unfortunately, sometimes you have to wait for some time so that you are seated, but it is definitely worth it!

Hi. I love your blog with great info for travellers. If you a chance to travel again to Portugal, the Azores islands well deserve your visit. 2 hours from Lisbon to Sao Miguel (the largest island on a group of 9) with a lot to see and do and certified as the best sustainable destination in Europe.

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
