    I never knew blood sugar was influenced by outrageous chilly climate. My thermoregulation as of now sucks, so this is so great to know!

    Here is another reason to stay warm: diabetes is associated with increased blood viscosity. When you get cold your peripheral circulation constricts and your blood gets even thicker! Thick blood is bad for everyone but more so for people with diabetes.
