Were you able to book the Blue Hole Dive through the Hamanasi Resort? My fiancé and I will be staying there for our honeymoon and we booked the Reef and Rainforest package. They said that the Blue Hole dive is not guaranteed and we won’t know until we check in to see if there are enough divers for that location. Just curious as to how your experience was with booking it as the resort. Thanks!

Hi Danielle! I believe we replied by email, but adding this here, just in case 🙂

I booked my dive at the Blue Hole through Hamanasi. However, it’s a VERY long boat ride to the Blue Hole from Hamanasi (about 2-3 hours), because of that, it’s extremely weather-dependent. My schedule was pretty flexible during my stay there, so every morning I’d check-in to see if that was the day it was going to happen.

If the Blue Hole is one of your number one things, the main town of is a place where lots of folks go out of, specifically for the Blue Hole. Definitely check on this!

That said, you may want to consider either going there before or after you go to Hamanasi, so it’s closer to getting there and more likely to happen.

      I hope that helps!
