    Hi there.

I’m researching Greenland. Isn’t there a hotel out there that looks just like the ION hotel – only built by a local female architect? I can’t find it anywhere….. And, I just read in another article that the ION hotel is a re-purposed bunkhouse for the electric plant that is right next door – did you happen to see it? It would not put me off, the Blue Lagoon is next to a power plant as well. Nikki

Hey Nikola! I haven’t been to Greenland yet – but the place you mentioned sounds incredible. On another note, I really enjoyed my stay at ION!

    Hi there,
I have not yet either but I’ve done a ton more research and this is the one – ION. I don’t know how I got them confused! ION was built by a local female architect:) It looks amazing…. but Greenland next for me before I re-do Iceland… thanks for replying:) Nikki

Welcome to Wadi Rum, Jordan — the red desert wonderland that feels like another planet. 🌌

From racing through the dunes on a 4x4 tour, to sleeping under the stars in a Martian-style tent 🛖✨, to soaring over the landscape in a hot air balloon at sunrise 🎈— this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Add Wadi Rum to your bucket list — you won’t believe it’s real until you see it.

Back in Jordan for the fourth time, and it continues to inspire me just as much as it did on my first visit in 2012! 🐪

Jordan remains one of my all-time favorite destinations thanks to its incredible diversity and rich cultural experiences.

From exploring the ancient city of Petra and floating in the healing waters of the Dead Sea, to discovering the vibrant streets of Amman, sleeping under the stars in the Wadi Rum desert, and scuba diving in the crystal-clear Red Sea in Aqaba—every journey here offers something unforgettable.

One experience I always recommend (and can’t wait to do again) is canyoning the Siq Trail in Wadi Mujib.

There’s truly no place like Jordan. 🇯🇴✨
