Hi, just came across your blog tonight as I am planning a weekend trip to Athens, thanks for the tips, they were really helpful!
As a proper Icelander I had to check if you had visited my home country and I can see that you are going soon or maybe you are in Iceland at the moment. How nice!

Anyways just wanted to say I agree with Chris and Jökulsárlón is definitely worth the visit!

Few other tips; Fishmarket and KOL are good places for nice dinners but for lunch I recommend Gló, a healthy restaurant on the main street Laugarvegur. Recommend the raw snickers cake for dessert, its to die for! http://glo.is/glorestauranticeland
One more thing I know its cold and its snowing in the Capital at the moment but that doesn´t stop us to go for a Ice-cream drive. There are quite a few Ice-cream shops in Reykjavík and I highly recommend you try some.

    Hope you enjoy your stay!

    • Thank you SO much for the tips! So bummed it’s my last night here, but I’m sure this will be super helpful to other readers. I’m DEFINITELY coming back and will use your tips!

  2. Oh boy, now I must definitely go to Iceland. I am super pumped after reading your post. The photos look amazing and swimming at the blue lagoon is most definitely on my to-do list.
