I’m going to get my open water certification next weekend! It’s always been on my bucket list but you’re posts have really inspired me to stop waiting around. Thank you!

I may have missed it but have you ever done a post on the type of gear that you use? Would love to read about you’re favorites!

    • Yay!! That’s amazing!!

I haven’t done a post yet, but definitely plan to soon 😉

I would also love to see a post on the gear you use! I always try and get a dive in when I’m traveling to a location that allows it. What of my own gear should I pack when I am going on a long vacation (not a dive specific one), but want to take advantage of diving if it comes up? I’m about to spend 6-7 months in Spain on the coast, and I want to take advantage of diving while I am there but am unsure if I should pack any of my own gear since I don’t want to overpack.

        • To be honest, the only dive gear I have is a dive computer and underwater housing for my camera. I rent everything else. However, I am also investing in my own snorkeling mask because that’s always my biggest issue– getting a mask that fogs or leaks. Those 3 things are all I’d ever consider traveling with and even still, you can rent a mask and computer from the dive center. So, I wouldn’t worry about it!

  2. Wow! Like you said, it really is a whole other world out there and I’m clearly missing a lot. I hope to get certified one day so I can explore the depths of the ocean as well! I know you will soon go for a new diving adventure, so have fun in Belize! 😀

    • You definitely should 🙂 Thanks so much! So excited!

I highly recommend staying a night or 2 at @themanor_house in The Cotswolds.

It’s located in the tiny, picturesque village of Castle Combe—one of my favorite stops of our trip.

We had the entire village to ourselves early in the morning and at sunset which was so magical!

I took a spontaneous trip with my friend to the countryside of England and it was everything I dreamed it would be!

The Cotswolds feel like stepping back in time with historic villages and adorable cottages). While these places might seem similar at first glance, each village was actually quite unique. These are some of the cutest villages we visited:

- Castle Combe
- Bourton-on-the-Water
- The Slaughters
- Stow-on-the-Wold
- Broadway
- Snowshill
- Bibury

Some amazing villages and towns not featured but also worth visiting include:

- Broadway
- Burford
- Daylesford & Daylesford Farms
- Chipping Campden
- Cirencester

Are The Cotsworlds on your bucket list?
