Indonesia is made up of a whopping 17,800 islands – something that would take you a lifetime to explore! Home to a huge range of fauna and flora as well as countless linguistic and ethnic groups and incredible landscapes. I can’t emphasize enough how much you need to visit this beautiful country!

While I’ve loved everywhere I’ve traveled in Indonesia, Bali is one of my favorite destinations for solo travel, largely because of its natural beauty and vibrant culture.
