Death Road

Cycling the world’s deadliest road

“Life Begins at the End of Your Comfort Zone”

The Death Road is known as The World’s Most Dangerous Road for claiming the lives of over 18 cyclists as well as hundreds of lives in automobile accidents each year. That was the only information I had before committing to the 64 km cycle tour.

The trip led us down 3,345 meters of vertical descent past dangerous turns and even straight through a waterfall!

I never considered myself an adrenaline junkie, but travel has helped inspire me to try new things and conquer my fears. After skydiving in New Zealand, trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, cycling the World’s Deadliest Road and getting my scuba diving certification in Panama, I’ve definitely surprised myself with my own courage!
