I am absolutely thrilled to be partnering with LifeProof again to experience and share a brand new destination that has long been on my travel bucket list!
I’ve been traveling with a LifeProof case for nearly 3 years and recently returned from Iceland with fellow blogger Matt, of Expert Vagabond, where we put our LifeProof iPhone cases to the test.
Now that winter is officially here, it’s time to embark on a new adventure and tick off a few items from my Winter Bucket List. Matt and I are teaming up again to take on one of the most popular winter destinations in the entire world. Drum roll please…
As a California girl, born and raised, I’m ashamed to admit I’ve never actually traveled to Canada. Needless to say, this is a really exciting trip for me!
Since LifeProof cases are dirtproof, snowproof, droproof and waterproof (and there’s an insane amount of Winter activities in Whistler) I have a pretty good feeling I’ll be ticking off more items from my Winter Bucket List than I bargained for!
I head to Whistler in less than 2 weeks to ring in the New Year and get to work on my Winter Bucket List!
While I am planning on tackling 3 Winter Bucket List items, I also have some surprises up my sleeve that may involve dogs, sleds, and helicopters!
– Winter Bucket List Contest –
To follow along, I’ll be using the #LPBucketList hashtag on social media and posting updates on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. You can also accomplish your Winter Bucket List for a chance to win a $2000 adventure trip, a new iPhone 6 AND a LifeProof prize pack! Find all the details on their blog here.
Simply follow LifeProof on Instagram, post a list of 3 or more things you want to accomplish this winter, then share pictures (or video) as you check items off your list. Be sure to tag #LPBucketList and @LifeProof (and feel free to tag me too @theblondeabroad as I’ll be keeping my eye out for your posts)!
Here are my 3 Winter Bucket List items I pledge to check off while in Whistler with LifeProof!
– My Winter Bucket List with LifeProof –
- #1 Go Backcountry Snowmobiling
- #2 Shred the Slopes at Blackcomb
- #3 Unwind at the Scandinave Spa
One of Whistler’s most popular Winter activities, snowmobiling provides the ultimate mountain experience as you ride through forested trails and across frozen lakes. It’s an awe-inspiring landscape experience a truly CANADIAN backcountry adventure.
Should I be a passenger or the driver?!
As someone who loves to snowboard, Whistler is a dream destination! With over 8,100 acres of snow-covered slopes, 16 alpine bowls, 3 glaciers, world-class terrain parks and half pipes and 200+ marked trails for all ability levels and newly updated lifts, Whistler Blackcomb is the ultimate in big mountain experiences.
I can’t wait to strap back into my snowboard!
It’s no secret I’m a huge fan of day spas. Scandinave Spa Whistler is a 20,000 square foot outdoor spa, which is just minutes from Whistler Village. This Nordic-inspired oasis is surrounded by spruce and cedar forest on the edge of Lost Lake. If you’ve ever experienced a “snow-cuzzi” you’ll understand why I’m SO excited for this!
You didn’t think I’d miss a bikini opportunity, did you?
