One of the best tricks to packing light is picking items that are versatile. Instead of packing bulky cargo pants, try stretch denim in a beige color. You get the versatility and comfort of cargos and still look fashionable.
Find your “WOW” color.
It could be red, an olive green or even black or white. I always find that this bright blue color makes me feel confident and can make a simple outfit pop.
I always travel with these blouses, for a few reasons:
- They don’t wrinkle
- The are lightweight and dry quickly while keeping you cool. (Even in hot places like the Middle East)
- They’re subtly sexy. They are very feminine but are still conservative making them super travel friendly for every destination around the world.
Where I wore it: Jerash, Jordan
I created a more “adventure-friendly” outfit for a day of exploring by cuffing the pants and rolling the sleeves of the blouse. Then, I tucked in the blouse and wore gladiator sandals and stayed comfortable and cool all day.
A much better alternative to jeans and a t-shirt!
